The brightest object in the sky after the sun and the moon, but having the ability to *go away* and *return*. This was the myth of Quetzalcóatl, that after *going away from the people*, he would someday *return*. This myth caused the downfall of the Aztecs. Filsinger - "The Aztec Cosmos" Lela Cargill is a new artist to the Austin, Texas area. She has traveled extensively in Mexico and studied Aztec and Maya art for many years.
