The glyph for this ninth day of the Aztec calendar is water contained in a vessel of earth or bone. The animal representative is Xiuhcóatl, the fire serpent that surrounds the Aztec calendar or Cosmos. He is seen with a characteristic turquoise plaque and a blue bird.
